On December 18th, Tarvin Community Centre's Family Film will be Hotel Transylvania 2, followed by the Friday Adult film The Lady in the Van. It's this second film that has broken another record for us. We are very proud of the fact that we are able to offer our customers new films only three months after their release and well before you can purchase the DVD. The Lady in the Van, however, was only released 13th November and, therefore it will only be 5 short weeks before you will have the opportunity see it! Now that what I call record breaking.

In the Sony Pictures cartoon, Hotel Transylvania 2, Dracula's rigid monster-only hotel policy has finally relaxed, opening up its doors to human guests. But behind closed coffins, Drac is worried that his adorable half-human, half-vampire grandson, Dennis, isn't showing signs of being a vampire. So while Mavis is busy visiting her human in-laws with Johnny – and in for a major cultural shock of her own – "Vampa" Drac enlists his friends Frank, Murray, Wayne and Griffin to put Dennis through a "monster-in-training" boot camp. But little do they know that Drac's grumpy and very old, old, old school dad Vlad is about to pay a family visit to the hotel. And when Vlad finds out that his great-grandson is not a pure blood – and humans are now welcome at Hotel Transylvania – things are going to get batty!

Door open at 17:30 for start at 18:00. the runtime is 1 hour 29 minutes.

The Lady in the Van film tells the true story of the relationship between Alan Bennett and the singular Miss Shepherd, a woman of uncertain origins who 'temporarily' parked her van in Bennett's London driveway and proceeded to live there for 15 years.

Starring Maggie Smith as Miss Shepherd and Alex Jennings as Alan Bennett its not hard to understand why 28 critics al gave it the thumbs up. Other members of the cast include James Corden, Jim Broadbent, Frances De La Tour, and Dominic Cooper.

Doors open at 19:30 for start at 20:00. Runtime is 1 hour 44 minutes.

Ed. Just a reminder that there will be no Family Film on the 27th November due to a Christmas Fair at the Primary School. The Adult Film, Suffragette, will be at the usual time of 20.00 hours. Doors open at 19.30.
