Eat more fruit, do more exercise, drink less

Apparently about a third of British people make New Year resolutions (YouGov). Most of these are health / fitness related. But also high on the list is saving more, career ambition, doing work on the house or taking up a new hobby.

So, how long do people keep to their resolutions? Well, when asked, approximately 40% of people who made resolutions kept to them for the year.

As I'm sure you can imagine, there is plenty of worthwhile advice on how to keep to resolutions on the internet. Here's a few of the tips that may help:

  • Choose a specific and realistic goal,
  • Focus on one thing,
  • Start with small steps,
  • Don't let setbacks set you back,
  • Get support from family and friends.
