No Increase in Parish Precept

The Parish Council has agreed its budget for the year 2017/2018 and is delighted to announce that for the second consecutive year there will be no increase in the Parish Precept.

This is the amount added to the Council Tax bill of each householder that pays for certain local service and activities. It is only a small proportion of the total Council Tax bill, but as Cheshire West and Chester Council is expected to increase the tax the Parish Council is playing a modest role in keeping that increase as small as possible for residents of Tarvin Parish. The Precept will raise £41,822.00 during the financial year.
