Only A Week Ago

While the Christmas Market was a hive of activity outside in the street, the warmth and hospitality, as well as the excellent refreshments, brought many people inside the Methodist Church to another hive of activity.

The free craft activities were very popular with children and adults too and continued until the end of the market. Many Christmas cards were made to be given to proud families by their very talented children.

As ever the puppet nativity proved to be a great attraction to all ages, with non stop performances throughout the evening giving a very entertaining version of the nativity story. The puppets are a popular media of
entertainment and an age old method of teaching stories and history. The participation by the audience was a welcome enhancement .

The atmosphere in the hall was amazing with everyone relaxed and enjoying themselves as well as taking the chance to sit and enjoy the comforts of being dry and warm. A true Christmas spirit throughout the evening enjoyed
by all.

Time to start planning for next years Christmas Market to build on what has become a tradition in Tarvin.
