TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS by CWAC

NOTICE is hereby given that Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council propose to make the following Traffic Regulation Orders in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

THE CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER BOROUGH COUNCIL
(CROSS LANES/ SHAY LANE/ WILLINGTON ROAD, OSCROFT) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2016

The effect of the Order will be to:

1) Introduce a 30 mph speed limit on Cross Lanes from a point 535 metres south of its junction with Shay Lane to a point 637 metres south of its junction with Shay Lane, a distance of approximately metres 102.
2) Introduce a 40 mph speed limit on:
a) Cross Lanes from a point 637 metres south of its junction with Shay Lane to its junction with Tarporley Road a distance of approximately 766 metres.
b) Shay Lane from a point 173 metres north west of its junction with Cross Lanes for a distance of 253 metres in a north westerly direction.
3) Introduce a 50 mph speed limit on:
a) Shay Lane from a point 426 metres north west of its junction with Cross Lanes to its junction with A54 Kelsall Road, a distance of approximately 786 metres.
b) Willington Road from a point 233 metres south east of its junction with The Green for a distance of 546 metres in a south easterly direction.

THE CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER BOROUGH COUNCIL
(TARVIN ROAD, STAMFORD HEATH) (50 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2016
The effect of the Order will be to impose a 50 mph speed limit on the A51 Tarvin Road from a point 153 metres west of its junction with Stamford Lane to a point 53metres west of the westerly kerb line of the B5132 Barrow Lane.
