St Andrew's Prayers for Manchester

A community came together last night, 24th May, to reflect on the terrorist attack on Monday. To pray for the families who have lost loved ones, for those who have been injured and for those who are still missing. We remembered the hope that we have in each other, thinking of those who helped immediately at the scene and those from our emergency services who, even with the prospect of further repercussions went to the aid of those in need.

I was amazed at how many came to pray and reflect. We acknowledged our own fear, but also the strength we can find in each other.
