WG July2

Our first meeting of the Women's Group year started with the AGM and particular mention should go to Lyn, our Treasurer, who keeps our finances ticking over and our heads above water, thank you. Ken Walker, a familiar face to us all then took over and entertained us with his wonderful music. I don't think there was anyone who could say they didn't sing along or manage to keep their foot from tapping! Our next meeting will be on Wednesday 7th October when we will be off to Chester to experience the Chester Ghost Tour.

If you would like to give us a try do come along on the first Wednesday of the month at 7.30 p.m. in the Parish Room next to St Andrew's Church. You do not have to belong to St Andrew's to come to our meetings, and for £2.00 which includes Tea/Coffee and biscuits it makes a really varied, interesting and friendly evening.
