Tarvin Civic Trust held its annual Christmas social for members at the Community Centre on Tuesday evening.

As members arrived, they were invited to take a glass of wine, circulate round the room, chat with friends and identify photographs of windows of some of the buildings in the Tarvin Conservation Area, not so easy!

Then Quiz Master, Bryan Evans, teased them with his General Knowledge and Dingbat quizzes.

Tasteful (??) prizes were awarded to the winning contestants. Gratifyingly for the organisers, members seemed most reluctant to go home at the end of the evening!
