In June 1990, Cheshire Fire Brigade were at Tarvin Community Centre to meet the Tarvin toddlers and pre-school playgroup. The lucky children had their questions answered and the firemen, Mike Warrall, Tony Jones and Jeff Chadwick let them in the engine, showed them how the equipment worked and how to put their fire-fighting clothes on. The three and four year-olds had a great time before finally waving the firemen goodbye.
