Tarvin History Revealed – Newborn Lamb!

We are starting a new year, 1989, with a picture of a new born lamb from the Tarvin History Scrapbooks for that year.

The picture from the Chester Chronicle shows Kate Jones of Saughall, with their first spring born lamb for 1989 which was born on Christmas Day 1988!

Kate was the then nine year old daughter of Tarvin butcher John Jones.
