First published in the Chester Chronicle on October 5th 1984 we have a photograph of Tarvin Women's Group enjoying a cheese and wine evening with their chairman Edna Waring (shown centre).

Also published in 1984 but this time the photograph is from November 2nd in 1984. Tarvin Tennis Club hosted a social and presentation evening in the Community Centre, the photograph shows the trophy winners and the team players.

Regular users of the King George V Playing Field may be aware that there have been a number of issues with the drainage at the top of the field.
