Do the children need something to do during the summer holidays? The classes in the show will keep them occupied for a while and they could win a cash prize. Each class has 2 age groups (5/9 years and 10/15 years).

They can do a flower arrangement in an egg cup or make a garden on a dinner plate. Another class needs a picture of wild life in the garden and can be painted ,drawn, photographed or in the form of a collage. They can let their imagination run wild by making an animal or creature from fruit, vegetables and/or flowers.
If baking is preferred 4 decorated cup cakes can be made.

If there is nothing in the garden to show in the many classes then the produce class may be of interest. Jam, marmalade, lemon curd you have made or shortbread biscuits, scones, a fruit pie or decorated cup cakes can be entered. There are recipes given for a Victoria sandwich cake or the historic Tarvin bun loaf in the schedule.

Schedules and entry forms are available from the Show Secretaries at 7. Hunter's Drive. 01829 741389.
The entry forms do not need to be in until the afternoon of the 18th so you can keep an eye on an idea for an entry and make sure it is at its best.

If you are not entering the show you can come along and see the exhibits, enter the raffle or enjoy the refreshments available

The show opens at 2pm in the Community Centre and admission is £1 with free entry for under 16 year olds.
