Jo Richards and her committee are to congratulated and thanked for all the hard work in giving the village such a successful day on 27th June. Blessed with superb summer weather, it was great to see such support from the community, and it really was a family occasion, with so many young families enjoying the many events.

When all the sums have been done and the bills paid, it will be interesting to discover how much money has been made for the Community Centre, which will be spent wisely to continue the refurbishment of the Centre.

In addition, the Fete provided the opportunity for many of the local community organisations to also raise much needed funds, and I am sure I speak on behalf of the Tarvin Scout Group, the Brownies, Tarvin Woodland Trust, St Andrew's Church, Tarvin & Ashton Flower Club, and I am certain, others, who benefited under the umbrella of the main organising committee.

Ed: More wonderful pictures of the 2015 Tarvin Fete. Keep sending then in.
