The 2014 Tennis Club Finals day will be remembered for the glorious sunny weather, excellent tennis, tea and cakes, and, Peter Noseworthy winning his 10th Singles Title!

On Court one the Singles final was a close match with tennis of the highest order between the 9 times singles winner Peter and the new up and coming talent that is Amit.

TC Mens singles

Once again Peter turned out victor despite Amit pushing him all the way.





At the same time on Court 2,

TC Ladies singles

Jane and Sarah contested the Ladies singles final with Sarah coming out on top after 3 grueling sets on a very hot day.






In the men's Doubles final

Rob and Chris (Edwards) were up against Amit and Chris (Lowe),with Amit and Chris winning in 2 sets with a thrilling display of pace and touch whilst in the Ladies Doubles Final, Judy and Sarah were up against Julia and Wendy, with Julia and Wendy coming out on top in a hard fought game

The Mixed Doubles final featured Amit, again, in his 3rd final of the day, partnered by Julia in her second, against a fresh team in Graham and Shanti who won after a tight game and no doubt benefiting from fresh legs!
