Thursday Yoga Class in Tarvin ?

Before Christmas Kirsty Jackson decided she would have to cancel the Yoga Class that she held on Thursdays in Tarvin Community centre due to low attendance.

However efforts are being made to see if there would be a way the class could continue. To make the class viable there would need to be a minimum of 11 people prepared to commit up front on a termly or half termly basis. The proposed class would run from 7.30pm to 9pm. The cost would increase minimally to £6 a session to cover the increased time ( this still remains cheaper than the £7 drop in fee for a 1.5 hr class) but would need to be paid in advance.
If you are interested then contact Linda Fridd via email on
by the beginning of next week as the room at the community centre is currently reserved on hold. Spread the word if there are others you know who may be interested while their New Year Resolutions are still in place!

Despite what at time amounted to torrential rain the show went on with the then traditional parade of floats round the village, with the first prize going to the Tarvin Primary School. Again in those days, there was the...
