The 2017 Village Quiz got off to a great start on Friday 13th January when a packed audience at Tarvin Community Centre, watched 15 teams locked in cerebral combat to win the coveted trophy.

Sue Hardacre, Tarvin Community Centre, opened proceedings by welcoming all the teams and introducing the QuizMaster, Stuart McNeill, Scorer, Richard Orfanelli, and Time Keeper, James Sinclair.

The teams going through to next week's finals, 20th January are:

Dib,Dib,Dib vs Deansway Divers --7.30pm, The Crescent (who had a bye due to their opponents dropping out at the last minute) vs The Bowling Club — 7.45pm, The Flower Club vs The Tennis Club — 8.00pm, T.M.P., vs Deansway Hopefuls — 8.15pm.

Semi-finals at 8.45pm & 9.00pm & the Final at 9.15pm.
