WI Coffee Morning in Aid of Countess of Chester Hospital

The WI Coffee Morning will be held to help the Dialysis Unit raise money for two new machines.

The renal unit at Countess of Chester Hospital was opened in January 2006 and is a modern, comfortable building designed with a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere in mind. It is part of a renal outpatient department that includes home therapies, outpatient clinics and intravenous iron programs.

Each week 68 patients attend on three days each week for several hours of treatment. The machines need replacing on a regular basis due to constant use and to keep up to date with improved facilities.
