All Around Tarvin
By Christmas market Community Group - 18th October 2020 6:00am
Tarvin Christmas Festival and Market has become a popular highlight of the year in Tarvin so instead of just cancelling, it is going to be 'Virtual' this year. People will be able to shop at their favourite Christmas stalls together with some new ones, all from the comfort of their own home.
In 2008, when the Tarvin Christmas Festival and Market began, it was during a recession and the aim at that time was to support local businesses at a time of economic hardship. The present Christmas Festival and Market Community Group feel that this should be our aim once again in 2020 and for this reason we will not be charging 'stallholders' a single penny to promote their business on our 'Virtual Christmas Market'.
The 'Virtual Christmas Market' will be permanently fixed in the Editor's Pick section on the Home page of the Tarvinonline website so it will be easy to find.
Each 'stallholder' will be given a 'page' or 'stall' which will include a link to your website, Facebook page, or whatever digital media you would like your customers to link to in order to view your goods or services and make a purchase. You will simply be asked to create a 'Word' document outlining your offer with some images of your product/s and perhaps a photo of yourself — as with all digital marketing this is really important as 'people buy from people'.
So, whether you have had a stall at the Tarvin Christmas Market in the past or would like to take this opportunity to have a 'stall' on the largest ever 'Tarvin Virtual Christmas Market', get your creative heads on and contact
to register your interest.
