Tarvin Athletic Football Club is a community club aiming to provide football to young people within the local villages in a safe and controlled environment.

The Tarvin Cycling Club recently celebrated its third anniversary.

The group cycle each Sunday morning and in the summer months on a Thursday night.
There is also a ladies' section who cycle Friday and Sunday mornings and we always welcome new cyclists.

Tarvin Tennis Club is a friendly but competitive sports club with about 120 members. We particularly welcome young members and our Monday Junior night is well attended when coaching is offered to 5 year olds and upwards. Adult club nights are on Tuesdays and Fridays in the summer season and organised sessions run during the day on several days of the week. In the winter there is a club afternoon each Saturday.
We have 5 competitive teams, summer and winter, and run a Club tournament throughout the summer.

Tarvin Toddlers Group has been running for many years from the Community centre by volunteer parents. It has been a great way to connect and network with other parents, grandparents and carers of our little ones.
They are now looking for a new team to head this up.

Ash-worth Time Bank is a community based rural charity helping people older people in rural Cheshire with job exchanges turning over 2,710 exchanges over the last 12 month period.

We are a fun and lively club suitable for both the mature players and total beginners. We play using the British Mah-jongg Association rules with some extra enhancements and use the International scoring system white to black belt.

Originally a Chinese game now played worldwide. A cross between bridge and rummy. A game of suits using winds and dragons played with tiles. Excellent for stimulating the brain.

St Andrew's Womens' Group meets monthly and has speakers on a variety of subjects, some funny and some more serious. We also have trips out.

The Community Centre has been at the centre of village life for over 40 years and provides a flexible and affordable meeting place for local residents. A large hall with stage and digital sound system will hold up to 190 people and a smaller meeting room with digital projector will seat up to 60. There is a bar license and kitchen facilities. There is excellent off-street parking and full disabled access.
