Bells for VJ Day 80th Anniversary

As you my have heard, the bells of St Andrew's Church rang out on Friday at 6.30 pm, together with belltowers across the country, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VJ Day (Victory over Japan Day), honouring those who served in the Far East during World War Two.

We hope that you can spare a thought for those who served and especoially those who bore the scars or gave the ultimate sacrifice.
