As many residents will have seen, some roads in the local area have received some much-needed love and attention recently. For example, the main road through Littleton has at last been resurfaced, which my car's suspension is very happy about.
This brings into sharp contrast the state of the roads and pavements in Tarvin and Church Street in particular, where the council have, over the last two years, done small patching works which many will agree seem entirely inadequate.
At Tarvin Online, we have had a number of residents approach us asking how they can report concerns about the state of this road, so, we have checked what the correct channels are and included them below with links.
The more people who complain using the correct channels, the more attention this may be given at CWaC so if you would like to submit a complaint about church street or any other road/pavement in Tarvin, especially if it has led to a trip, fall or accident please use the methods described below, expecially if this has caused a trip, fall, or accident of any sort.
Online
1 Report It App:
Download the app, select "Report it," pinpoint the location on the map, choose the issue type, provide a description, and submit.
2 Council Website:
Visit the Cheshire West and Chester Council's website, navigate to the "Report a Road Fault" page or click on this Link and use the online form to submit your report. As you will see from the council's web page, it would appear that the state of the surface on Church Street may not be bad enough to consider needing to be reported; however, if the surface damage or wear causes a near miss or accident, it may still be worth reporting
