Cornichon – Burger Night.....

Well......

I have to say...I didn't realise that Wednesday nights were "Burger Nights" at the Cornichon...but having been there this evening....I wonder if they do a "season ticket"!

My husband is a well seasoned "burger boy" and loves nothing better than a good burger so for him the choice of "Chipotle braised beef burger" of "Beef patty, chipotle braised beef shin, smoked cheese & pickles" was not to be missed. (Picture is taken from The Cornichon Facebook page).

For myself...not being a real burger person...I chose the "Chicken" option

OMG – it was GORGEOUS! Will definitely be returning!

You can see from our plates how impressed we were!

On this occasion we decided (having enjoyed our main courses so much!) to have a dessert...the boss opting for Sticky Toffee Pudding and Ice Cream, while I chose my favourite (Creme Brulee). I've got to say....I think it was the best Creme Brulee I have EVER HAD! Absolutely perfect!

Everything was topped off with a very nice bottle of White Rioja....and we walked home very happy indeed!

Don't even think about going into town...!
