The current Local Plan which shapes what and where things like housing and employment areas are built in Cheshire is being updated. This is because the Government has increased housing targets. In the Cheshire West and Chester (CWaC) area the number of housing units required to be delivered, each year, has doubled to just over 1,900. This potentially will have an impact on Tarvin village. There is already an application for 60 houses on land off Tarporley Road. Maps of where new development in Tarvin MIGHT be located, based on different assumptions, are included in the updated, draft Local Plan. Please take the time and trouble to find out what is being considered and MOST IMPORTANTLY HAVE YOUR SAY.
