The Autumn programme for Cheshire Rural Turning Arts has now been published and is available in the foyer of the Community Centre. You are cordially invited to take one.

There is a wealth of shows to choose from throughout Cheshire and some very attractive offerings at venues nearby. For music lovers, there is Canadian indie folk music at Little Sutton and Norley or flamenco at Northwich and Neston. You can hear jazz at Neston and Bickerton or enjoy a tribute to the great jazz violinist Stephane Grappelli in Mollington.

You will find modern dance at St Mary's Centre in Chester and some great theatre at Tattenhall, Kelsall and Upton. All are professional performances at great prices. Sue Hardacre, promoter for Tarvin Community centre says "There range of arts on offer is extraordinary with 21 companies catering for all tastes, ages and moods. Ticket prices vary from £7.50 to £12.50 with children's show being cheaper still. Many venues have online booking and you will be assured of a warm welcome wherever you go"

For details of all the shows go to www.cheshireruraltouringarts.co.uk

Sue hopes that your first choice of shows will be the ones at Tarvin. Wuthering Heights, an adaptation of the great Bronte novel, will be on Saturday November 18th at 7.30pm with tickets priced at £10 and £7. For younger audiences, there is Tales of Birbal on Friday November 3rd at 6.00. Tickets for this are Just £6 and £4. Once those are in your diaries the rest of the autumn evenings can be filled in with many pleasurable hours of entertainment. The arts scene is alive and kicking throughout rural Cheshire.
