The Harvest Festival celebrations on Sunday, 7th October, at Tarvin Methodist Church began at 9am with Sunday Extra, full of fun and activities for families and children followed by bacon baps. At 11am a traditional Harvest Festival service was led by Mr. Phillip Morrey with well known hymns and readings. The church was decorated with fruit and vegetables and dried foodstuffs donated by the congregation and many friends in Tarvin. The fresh produce will be donated to Save the Family and the dried goods to the foodbank.
Today, Wednesday 10th October, the Harvest Hot Pot Supper will be served in the Methodist Church. We welcome all who would like to attend. Tickets are £7.00 and can be bought on the night or available beforehand from church members. We look forward to seeing you and offer you a warm welcome.
