Merry Christmas from our Crime Commissioner

This will be my last blog before I take a short break to recharge my batteries and catch up with my friends and family over the festive season.

During the year I have spent a lot of time travelling around the county and meeting as many of you as I can, discussing your policing priorities. Hearing your views on policing has been a really valuable and worthwhile experience and I use the feedback you give me to hold the Chief Constable, Simon Byrne, to account.

I want to take this opportunity to wish you all a safe and merry Christmas, and best wishes for 2015.
