New Grass Mowing Contractor

The following is a news item from the Parish Council:

At the Parish Council (PC) meeting on Monday evening it was reported that the contractor who had for many years cut the grass on the King George V Playing Field, Millennium Garden, and Oscroft Green had ceased trading during the first week of April. Given that it is now the growing season the PC acted quickly to appoint a new contractor at a cost within the recently approved budget and this has been achieved.

The new contractor, who gave all areas their first cut on 17th April, will also power wash the surfaces in the children's play area on the playing field, clean out the channel drainage system installed to the front of the field carpark by the wooden barrier, and cut the hedges around the field later in the year.
