Salvation Army Service at TMC

Sunday 7th December -11amOur service on Sunday 7th will be a gift service with all donations going to the Salvation Army. 

The Salvation Army are one of the busiest and broad-based charities in the UK. Funds raised go to a wide range of projects,

Community help:Local community work and centrally managed programs, which include support for people experiencing homelessness, addiction, and other crises.
Disaster funds: The Salvation Army's Money helps to provide aid during natural disasters and other crises.
Humanitarian aid: The Salvation Army also uses funds to supportvictims of human trafficking.
Rehabilitation: Salvation Army Funds support Adult Rehabilitation Centres (ARCs), which offer programs to combat addiction. These are funded through work therapy by residents.
Sustainability and Environment: The Salvation Army promotes the reuse and recycling of donated clothing, which helps to reduce waste and raise funds for its projects. In fact, they are recognised as one of the most profitable clothing recyclers in the world. They sort the clothing and find the most profitable route for each and every garment and pair of shoes. Salvation Army Trading (SATCoL) generates profits by selling donated items in its thrift stores and through its online platforms.
