The Tarvin History Group's scrapbooks for December 1989 included an article announcing the closure of the Rose Farm Stores in Tarvin.
The photo shows owners Humphrey and Maureen Lightfoot who retired after trading for almost 23 years! They said that they "will miss meeting the public and customers," and, "plan to take things easy for a while!"
Ed:"I'm sure there are still many residents in Tarvin who miss this store!"
