Tarvin History Revealed – Striding Out for Charity

In September 1993, Dave Nolan, Marcus Laue and Colin Jones organised a sponsored walk in aid of Tarporley Memorial Hospital. The walk set off from the George and Dragon and was a circular route of about 16 miles of footpaths, minor roads and eight pubs!

Ed: The report does not make clear whether any of the eight pubs were visited but it would be interesting to know the route taken in case anyone would like to take up a modern day challenge.
