Ukrainian charity appeal in The Tarvin Community Centre

On 1st April at 5:30 pm we are glad to invite you to the Ukrainian charity event in Tarvin village. You will get a rare chance to have a direct line to Ukrainian refugees, ask your questions, get answers, and help ordinary people in poor situations.

The war in Ukraine continues. Every day we hear news about battlefields and the army, but at the same time, more than 6 million internal refugees are ignored in Ukraine. A lot of them can't afford a basic level of groceries and medicine. We can help!

Together with a local volunteer project "Help Ukrainians"* we are going to provide as much help as we can. For example, £10 will feed one adult for a week.

What is waiting for you in the Ukrainian charity appeal? Raffle prizes and souvenirs, Ukrainian pies, tea and a little part of Ukraine culture. We are starting at 5:30 pm till 8:00 pm and we look forward to seeing you at any time during this period.

* Help Ukrainians is a volunteer project founded in March 2022. The key line of business is help to internal refugees. During the year project has collected and diverted more than 50 000 pounds.
