Tarvin Pre-School & Day Nursery hosted their Charity Valentine's Dinner Dance on Saturday 11th February at the Community Centre. The décor was very trendy and classy to give an ambience of love and 60s style. The event was organised by the staff of the Nursery.
Staff, parents and friends enjoyed the fabulous entertainment from the Shambolics Band, Rosie our singer and a disco. A tasty two course meal was provided of lasagne or curry followed by hand-made love cup cakes with chocolate dipped strawberries. Cocktails were expertly shaken to perfection by Anton assisted by Luke and Sara. Everyone danced the night away to a variety of love songs and 60s music. Lyn Jackson, Nursery Manager said "the evening was a great success, profit on the evening had not yet been determined, but in terms of enjoyment it was amazing.
Our grateful thanks to everyone who supported this event, to everyone involved in providing the entertainment, the food, the tables, the glasses, to Alun Williams for the lighting, the disco and sourcing the band, to the businesses who donated raffle prizes and or course to the wonderful staff who helped every step of the way."
