The Community Centre has been at the centre of village life for over 40 years and provides a flexible and affordable meeting place for local residents. A large hall with stage and digital sound system will hold up to 190 people and a smaller meeting room with digital projector will seat up to 60. There is a bar license and kitchen facilities. There is excellent off-street parking and full disabled access.
The woodland constitutes an area of about five and a half hectares, one kilometre long between the village and the south-western by-pass.
