Community tasks- a new approach?

We reported recently on the community litter-pick which had been a success with over 30 bags of litter collected and other large items removed.
It was noted that Oscroft had been able to get more residents involved and it was suggested that this may have been because many Oscroft residents are members of a private Whatsapp group, making them easily contactable.

Are you a Tarvin village resident and would you be willing to be a member of a Whatsapp group of volunteers to undertake various tasks from time to time?
Tasks might be litter-picking, say for no more than three hours every couple of months, or delivering the PC's quarterly newsletter Tarvin Times, a two hour job every 13 weeks.
