The PC has accepted a generous offer from the George Heath Foundation to buy a defibrillator to be placed on the outside of the Scout/Guide Hut. There would also be a plaque acknowledging the donation. The PC will pay to install and maintain it. Senior members of the Scouts will inspect the equipment weekly and report to the North West Ambulance Service.
The PC will also pay for two courses of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training, one for members of the clubs which use the field (tennis, bowls, football, Scouts/Guides) and one for members of the public.
The training will be at the Community Centre, dates to be agreed
