It has been an emotional week at Tarvin School!

In the run up to the summer holidays we have had some momentous occasions – the new school sign with the school emblem has been erected and unveiled.

The Juniors have staged their end of term production "The Sound of Music".

The winner of the Jim Grogan Countryside and Wildlife Award was announced in the Woodland.

And the Year 6s had their leavers lunch and proudly showed off their leavers' jumpers!....helped by chef Gary baking them a "Sound of Music" inspired cake.

...and in a very emotional moment Tarvin grandma Sheila Ankers made her last journey taking her granddaughter to school....after 56 years service of taking her own children, and then her grandchildren to school Sheila has finally reached the end of her brood! I daresay that Sheila's dog Lucky will still take her on that journey every morning!

We hope all of the children, parents, teachers and other school staff have a wonderful summer – we will see most of you in September when you welcome the new Reception class into school!
