The George Heath Foundation – latest donations

The George Heath Foundation is very proud to unveil it's latest two donations to our community.

Both donations are football related...a sport that George loved!

First of all, our local football team Tarvin Rex have received a donation to cover the cost of training tops – these were unveiled at the club's first home game of the season on Sunday 19th August (pictured). Let's hope that the training tops helped them – they won the match 7-2 against local rivals Tattenhall!

The Foundation are also very proud to support 15 year old Ciara Roche after she has been signed for the 2018/19 season by Crewe Alexandra Ladies FC. Not only was Ciara a lifelong friend of George's...but Crewe Alexandra football club was managed by George's great granddad Ernie Tagg. We think that this makes this donation which covers Ciara's signing on fees, kit costs and subs doubly relevant for the Foundation, and we know that George would approve.
