So the dust has settled on our fantastic Quiz Night which took place on Friday 6th April...
...and what a night it was! Twenty one teams entered – so Tarvin Community Centre played host to a fun-filled, head-scratching, head banging evening – with around 100 people coming along to support The George Heath Foundation.
An amazing and varied set of questions were put together by the fabulous Sarah Harvey, and assisted on the night by her daughter Megan! Safe to say that there was something in the quiz for everyone – young and old!
The raffle was organised by our three youngest trustees – Robbie Plank, Chloe Evans and Ben Thorp (pictured)
It was too close to call going into the final round with the Boyz in the Corner narrowly leading The "Bean" Counters! Rather embarrassingly, The Bean Counters (a team consisting of four of the Foundation's trustees) just managed to turn it around in the final run in!
The most important thing was that all of the quizzers had a good time....oh and the added bonus was that The George Heath Foundation raised £595 on the night! Absolutely amazing!
Gaynor Heath provided an update on the allocations that The Foundation has made to date (for the benefit of those present who hadn't been to one of our events before!). Please see our website www.thegeorgeheathfoundation.org.uk and Facebook page for more information
Thank you so much to every one who came along and supported us – we couldn't do what we do without your support!
