All Around Tarvin

Now that the summer holidays have arrived, and coupled with the continuing good weather, it is timely to point out the opportunities for youngsters to get into tennis, particularly as our regular Monday evening coaching sessions have finished for the time being.
Coach, Gary Ward, is running a Tennis Camp in the week commencing Monday, 6 August, through to Friday, 10 August. It will start at 9.00 am each morning and a half day session finishing at 12 noon costs £12 whilst a full
day finishing at 3.30 pm costs £25. A booking form, payment details and other information can be obtained by visiting Gary's website- whackit-tennis.com.
Informal sessions for juniors have now been running every Saturday morning from 10.00 am when Tennis Club committee members will oversee the tennis. It is becoming increasingly popular and all you need to do is come
along with any youngsters aged 5 and over. There is no charge but the hope is that the youngsters will enjoy an introduction to tennis and will wish to join the Club together with their parents. Currently all grades of membership are half the usual price to new members so a junior member can join for as little as £15.
We hope to see as many as possible on the courts.
