The right to choose

When we write articles for Tarvinonline they deliberately cover a wide spectrum of topics. We try to vary between local news items, general topics of interest and occasionally a bit of humour ( well funny to us anyway).
I always find it interesting when a story goes online as to how many "hits" it will get. What makes people want to read it (or not!). Also there is an ever-growing readership that keeps to the Facebook world and ventures no further. This number is not broken down to readership of each story but remains at the Tarvin Facebook page level.
So what does it tell us when we had 123 readers for the Neighbourhood Plan report this week but 1325 for the Crossfield Fox story?

The next day the fox was gone but the NP will affect us all for years to come and is here to stay!

There is no escape from the NP as we will be writing articles over the coming weeks to explain all the recommendations from the Steering team so that you are up to speed when the big day comes and you will be asked to vote in favour (or not?).
This is a challenge that may send us up in smoke!
