The Community Centre is delighted to announce – after a bit of breath holding and finger crossing – that they will be showing the new Disney block-buster animated film, Moana on January 27th at 6.00pm.
This film has had excellent revues, with the website Rotten Tomatoes giving the film a 91% audience 'like 'rating.
According to the website:

"With a title character as three-dimensional as its lush animation and a story that adds fresh depth to Disney's time-tested formula, Moana is truly a family friendly adventure". The film does carry a PG rating as there are some 'scary' images and some scenes of 'peril'. It lasts for 103 minutes.

The Community Centre is delighted to be bringing this popular film to Tarvin, where the entertainment is a fraction of the cost of a trip to more established cinema venues. With ticket prices still at £3 for a child and £4 for an adult, this should be an evening to remember. Tickets will soon be on sale at the Post Office and it might be wise to get them in advance for this film, as demand could be high. Though there should be tickets available at the door, it would be heart-breaking to have to turn latecomers away.

The later adult film at 8.00pm is the delightful comedy "A Street Cat named Bob", less hyped perhaps, but a heart-warming and feel-good tale based on a real-life story. At £5 a ticket, this must be worth an evening out to go home feeling uplifted, especially in the dark days of January.
