Below left, the photograph shows Ernie Stant, the owner Tarvin Hall, who with two joiners Rob Bebbington and Fred Dale, helped to rescue pensioner, Miss Nancy Moreton, 81, as huge flames engulfed her home. Also in the picture is Mr. Stant's daughter, Pamela, who by coincidence the previous day was responsible for alerting Mr Louis Pavlou, of a fire in his King Louis chip shop.

The final photograph shows fireman, Phil Sullivan with one of the cats that was also rescued from 51 High Street.
