Tarvin History Revealed – Tarporley School Girls Challenge Gladiator

In January 1994 during a visit to the Birmingham Good Food and Kitchen show, as part of of a food technology course, a trio of Tarporley High School girls met hunky Gladiator super star, Shadow (trust me the Gladiator show was a big hit back in 1994).

Annabel Palmer, 15 of Bunbury and 14-year-olds Kate Ashbrook and Cara McNeil, both of Tarvin, took on the steely he-man in the can crushing challenge held on the Steel Can Recycling Information stand.
