Sunday 29th April saw a number of athletes from Tarvin taking part in the 37th Chester Half Marathon!
Seventeen year old Charlie Weaver overcame an injured sustained at 5 miles to complete the 13.1mile course in an amazing total time of 1 hour 39 minutes! (Pictured) Keep an eye out for Charlie in the future – he is an avid triathlete!
The George Heath Foundation had a team of ten runners out....with three Tarvin locals included in their number!
Robbie Plank was "conned into it by the boys" – but did his Best Friend George proud – completing the course in 2 hours 15! George Conway ran a superb race to finish in 1hour 59minutes, and Sam O'Connor from The Stamford Bridge clocked an incredible 1 hour 45minutes.
