A "Tarvin Tradition"

Following the Table Top Quiz last Friday, 6th October, the next test of community brains will be the Village Quiz, to be held on Friday Jan 12th and Friday Jan 19th 2018. For those new to the Village, this quiz is a venerable institution now in its 36th year and consists of a knock out competition on the Community Centre's stage between two teams of 4 who answer 3 rounds of questions.

Teams usually represent village organistions but this is not essential. Any group of 4 (+ 1 reserve) can put a team in – how about the Saxon Heath Warriors or the Millfield Close Marauders? For many years the best team was called Miscelleny.

Ed: After 35 years it is fair to claim that the Village Quiz is truly a Tarvin tradition. Over the years it has brightened the life of the local community in the cold, dark days following the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
