After hearing, via BBC News, about the difficulties hospices in the North West are experiencing with their fundraising, due to rising prices and no increase in Government funding, Tarvin WI craft group decided to knit and decorate Easter items for their local hospice -- the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, at Backford.

There were over 90 items in total, chicks, rabbits, baskets and decorated eggs. Four of the group took them to the hospice and enjoyed a coffee in the café, where the items were very well received.
