Tarvin Woodland Trustees will be at the Summer Fete!

The Tarvin Summer Fete has long been one of the events that marks Tarvin out as a village with a vibrant community and so many of the village organisations are happy to be a part of the afternoon.

The Community Woodland Trust is just one such group that enjoys the opportunity to be a part of a wonderful day and the Trustees relish the chance to be able to talk to folk about the woodland and our plans for it.

Our gazebo will be on the field, as usual, together with some more of the plants that found such a ready market outside the Chapel in May. Do come along and look at our plants. Hopefully you might buy some – no doubt at bargain prices! Above all, do come and talk to us! This is a golden opportunity for you to let us know your thoughts on the woodland and how it is developing.

Remember, it is our hope that Tarvin's woodland will still be around for this community at a time when all of us are long departed. It is during this present (relatively early) period of growth that we can make the greatest difference to the way that the woodland will grow and develop as it gently journeys towards the 22nd century!
