What we do

Ash-worth Time Bank & Rural Wellbeing
Working with the Community

Ash-worth Time Bank/Rural Wellbeing is a registered charity based in Ashton Hayes working in the rural community for over 10 years, caring for and encouraging people in rural Cheshire to share their skills and time helping older members of the community with practical help in their homes. We organise social groups and events, away days, holistic therapy days, reminiscing sessions and a range of exercise classes, such as Tai Chi, Yoga, Pilates and gentle exercise.

Patient & Carers Support at Home (PACS) is an additional Time Bank project, and helps people who are terminally ill at home with practical help and support, giving respite to their relatives or carers.

Membership of the Time Bank is free as are services.

Ash-worth Time Bank/Rural Well Being work with a number of organisations, including St. Luke's Hospice, Turning Point, Social Services.

We also organise Tarvin Wednesday club at the Tarvin Community Centre on 2nd and 4th Wednesday each month- we are actively seeking additional members. We have an interesting yearly programme.
