1st Tarvin Cubs have been making great headway on their Cyclists badge and, after an outdoor meeting to learn about the importance of "Air, Brakes and Chain", enjoyed an evening cycle ride round Delamere in great weather as well as a few cycling based games to round off
this half term.
On the same night, the Scouts were cooking up something special as they took their hike stoves to a picnic area near Kelsall. Aftermuch testing by the Scouts and leaders, the food they cooked for themselves was found to be hot and surprisingly edible.
After half term the sections are planning more outdoor activities up at Queen Charlotte's Wood campsite near Alvanley, more community based projects like the litter pick recently done by our Beavers and (for Cubs) Laser Tag towards the end of term. In the autumn we hope to be camping again and hopefully enjoying some water based activities.
