2020 has proved to be another successful year for Tarporley Sixth Form College, despite the hugely challenging and unprecedented circumstances. We are delighted that our results are in line with previous years, and once again, the majority of students have been placed at their chosen university.

There have been many impressive individual achievements, and we have continued our legacy of success at Oxbridge, with Olivia Franks going on to study Spanish and Portugese at Oxford. In addition, with exemplary top grades, Harry Kift will study Maths at Durham. Emily Pape will read Physics at University of Manchester. Abi Goodier will study Medicine at University of Cardiff. Katy Adkins will read Medicine at University of Newcastle. Anna Robinson will also study Medicine at the University of Sunderland. Catrin Blockley will read Biological Sciences at the University of Durham. Phoebe Dobie will study Social Anthropology at St Andrew's University.

There is also a wide array of other exciting subjects that our students are studying all over the country: Oscar Corlett Moss will read Computer Science at University of Newcastle. Finlay Hales will study Agriculture at Harper Adams University. Hannah Ford and Ciara Bolt Wilson will read Animation at Nottingham Trent University and Bristol University of West England respectively. Issie Moulton will study Human Physiology at University of Liverpool. Hannah Whelan will read Graphic Communication and Illustration at Loughborough University. In addition, our students have chosen other exciting, diverse pathways: James Brunt will begin his Accountancy Apprenticeship with Ernst Young; Josh Braham will study in Japan and Alfie Dickens will continue his studies in America.
